Water, though rampant, reveals integrity.
Tiger, horse, and dog village, Jia came and perished.

Characteristics of Bing Fire:
1. Light – Like the sun shining in all directions, without concealment or darkness.
2. Warmth – It can thaw the cold and bring life to all things.
3. Fierce – The fire spreads rapidly and uncontrollably when it gains momentum.
4. Upright and honest – Acting openly and honestly, disliking underhanded dealings.
5. Universal illumination – It does not shine only on one side, but benefits everyone.
6. Achievements – It can temper metal, turning stubborn metal into useful tools.
7. Compassionate and generous – When one's energy is abundant and properly channeled, it reveals a compassionate and tolerant heart.
8. Moderation – When one is vigorous but restrained, one demonstrates the virtue of upholding principles.
9. Outward expression – radiating light and heat outwards, liking to show off and be seen.
10. Too much of a good thing is bad. When things get too strong, they can easily become too hot, dry, and burn out, leading to a loss of balance.

The first and fourth sentences of the Bing Fire chapter in "Di Tian Sui" highlight the key point: Fire is favorable in cold situations, but unfavorable in hot situations.

1. Bing Fire has the function of regulating the climate, dispelling cold and thawing, and bringing vitality to all things.
2. Bing fire can temper Geng metal, turning stubborn metal into useful material; however, when facing Xin metal, due to the combination of Bing and Xin, it is difficult to use the tempering method to temper Geng metal.
3. Earth can be used to release the power of Bing Fire, turning its fierce energy into kindness; water can be used to control the momentum of Bing Fire, bringing its intense nature to moderation.
The term "earth" often refers to Ji Earth, which is moist and gentle, capable of restraining the excessive energy of Bing Fire, making it less intense.
Water often refers to Ren water, which has a strong and vigorous energy that can restrain the violent nature of Bing fire, thus bringing it into moderation (water and fire in harmony).
4. Fire, by its very nature, rises upwards; once it gains the right time and power, it often develops rapidly. If it is further supported by wood, it can easily become excessive and lose its restraint.

From the above conclusions, it is not difficult to see that whether it is dispelling cold and thawing, tempering Geng metal, or the abundance of earth becoming benevolent, the abundance of water showing integrity, or the abundance of wood and the blazing of fire, all of these in "Di Tian Sui" are based on the situation that Bing fire is strong and in power.
If the Bing Fire is weak and without roots, it may not be able to dispel cold and thaw; it will be weakened by earth and suppressed by water, making it difficult to exhibit the characteristics described in the book.

When studying Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny), in addition to the generating and restraining relationships between the Five Elements, the Earthly Branches, solar terms, and the Twelve Life Stages also need to be considered.

The first and fourth sentences of the Bing Fire chapter in "Di Tian Sui" highlight the key point: Fire is favorable in cold situations, but unfavorable in hot situations.

1.
