FENG SHUI IN JOHOR BAHRU

What a Johor Bahru home assessment covers

A home assessment looks at the surroundings first and the house second. The outside environment sets the starting conditions of a property, so it is best checked before you buy or renovate, not after you move in.

  • Outside environment: road direction, T-junctions and curved roads facing the house, pylons and lamp posts, flyovers, large neighbouring buildings and the lie of the land.
  • Orientation and entrance: the main door, the open space in front of it, and how air and movement flow into the home.
  • Interior layout: the main door, the master bedroom and the kitchen, plus light and ventilation.
  • The household: the actual situation of the family members, used as a supporting reference.

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us what you want to look at, for example buying a home, renovating or a Bazi reading.

  3. Confirm the fee and a time. We confirm the fee and an appointment in writing.
  4. The consultation. We explain the findings and give practical suggestions that are easy to apply, with a written report. Online Bazi sessions come with a recording and written notes.

FAQ

Feng shui in Johor Bahru: common questions

Do I need feng shui before renovating a house in Johor Bahru?

It is best done after you have the floor plan and before the renovation starts. At that stage the main door route, the master bedroom position, the kitchen use and the room layout are still easy to adjust. After renovation, the room to change things is usually much smaller.

What does a feng shui master look at during a home visit?

The outside environment first: roads, slopes, nearby buildings, pylons and lamp posts. Then the orientation, the main door and entrance area, the master bedroom, the kitchen and the toilets, and the family members' situation as a supporting reference.

Can a feng shui assessment be done from a floor plan only?

No. A floor plan does not show what the main door faces, the view from the windows, the roads around the property or planned developments. These need to be judged on site.

How much does a feng shui assessment cost in Johor Bahru?

Fees start from RM 1,200 for a condominium or apartment and from RM 1,500 for a landed home. The final fee depends on the floor area, the location and your needs, and is confirmed in writing before you book. Every assessment comes with a written report.

Can I book a Bazi reading online?

Yes. An online Bazi reading is a 60-minute video consultation with up to 10 questions, a recording and a written report. The price is RM 268, or US$65 or SGD 89 if you prefer to pay in another currency; it is the same service in every currency.

Which areas do you cover besides Johor Bahru?

On-site assessments can be arranged across Johor, in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh, and also in East Malaysia. Bazi, I Ching and date selection can be done online from anywhere. Please message us for available dates and fees.

What language are the sessions in?

Sessions are in English or Chinese. Written reports can be provided in English. Please mention your preferred language when you book.

Do you sell feng shui products?

No. The practice does not sell feng shui products. Suggestions in the report are practical changes to layout and use of space.
