STEM RELATIONS
Geng combines and clashes
- Combines with Yi (yin Wood). The classical combination (乙庚) pairs firmness with flexibility.
- Clashes with Jia (yang Wood). Geng and Jia face each other in the control cycle: both are strong-willed.
These are stem-level relations only. In a real chart the branches, seasons and Luck Pillars decide whether a relation helps or hinders.
2027
Geng in the 2027 Fire Goat year
2027 is a Ding-Wei (丁未) year. The year stem Ding is the Direct Officer (正官) to a Geng Day Master, which classically stands for structure and recognition. Structure, responsibility and recognition are emphasised. It favours promotion and reputation, and for women the year is also a partner-star year.
